Curg, as he was sometimes known, was Edwin's first child. His mother was Sarah Sophia Darrow and he was born in Ohio. Edwin Jr. would go on to a storied pioneer legend in Arizona and died fairly young.

Here is an image of the house when it was brand new, believed to be in this condition when Dad and Mom bought the house. Both sets of parents helped Mom and Dad to get into the house. The garage was converted into a study. The house had two bedrooms and was quite small. We lived there until 1969.
